The Captain of the ship was in Chicago for a mission, so I am stuck dressing up the 2 kiddos. The Lims invited us to celebrate this day at their place so we went and it was tons of fun, the food, the game and the trick-or-treat. This year was my very first trick-or-treating and i must say, FUN! I would so do it every year. Some houses put out the candies with “help yourself, please take ONE”, Des said could be due to people don’t want to interact with people too much especially with the flu thing going on without killing the whole Halloween. So, kudos to those who did the self serve candies!!!
By the way, it was Des’ idea to be crew of pirates.
The day where I stood, knelt, climbed, squatted, laid down with my camera the whole day for my friend’s wedding. It was supposed to be raining but the weather turned out really nice. The ceremony and the reception were very intimate and sweet. I caught myself with some tears. We wish you all the best, W and J!!!
The Fongs pulled off a dinner impossible: a sit down dinner for 18 adults with 10 kids running around. The decoration and the game was amazing. To great friends!!!
The mitten is the video is because while we were having lunch on the family room, Viola said “Wait!!” and came down from kitchen with the mitten saying that her plate is hot and she might hurt her hand. Silly girl.
Desmon is very certain that Adelia will be our last baby (fingers crossed). With that being said, I have these emotions with Adelia, afraid that she is growing too fast and I no longer have my baby no more. Today was the day when suddenly Des hollered “Look!!! Grab your video!”, I looked and I gasped. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Adelia is learning to walk.
This year pumpkin patch was arranged by Viola’s preschool. The pumpkin patch is fairly big and is “designed” to accommodate lots of preschoolers with Disney, Dinosaurs, Snoopy and Pixar characters filled the land. It was pretty amazing. We had picnic after the their teachers and classmates left. We stayed a bit longer to enjoy the quietness after the madness rush in the morning.
Viola had hard time choosing her pumpkin, she kept telling me it is heavy or it is dirty. I had no clue she was ‘clean-clean’ kinda girl. ^_^
