Chai-pao!!!!! Chai-pao!!!!

Published by tansuma under cook/bake, family

”Another task/request is completed, Dear” they said. My~

I thought I would just have a couple before I transferred the images and wrote this entry.  I shameless admitted that I had finished about 8-10 before I wrote this entry.

Desmon: no guarantee there would be any left for you…. ^_^

Playful Viola

Published by tansuma under viola

Yesterday, Viola was really hyper… running around, laughing and giggling. She looks like a little pirate, as his dad said.

bakpau’s days

Published by tansuma under cook/bake, family

The best thing of having 2 moms here is the treat that they would make for u on “request”. They made bakpau, or rather veggie bun…it was good tea time snack. No wonder I gain weight on my previous doc’s visit.

Next on the list: bakmi and “chai pau”-veggie dumpling!

3 Big Macs as birthday’s wish???? interesting…

Published by tansuma under viola

We were invited to Edwin’s birthday gathering this past Saturday. Carolyn and Jack were there too!

All this birthday boy requested was 3 Big Macs. We thought he was kidding… truth to be told, he finished the whole 3 Big Macs. WOW… We were all very impressed! He also requested one cheeseburger for Lucas, luckily we didn’t get him that. ha ha ha

The butter chicken was really good, we ate so much that day.  Thanks for the invite!

her first “real” haircut, by Nai-nai

Published by tansuma under family, viola

Viola did have a messy set of hair… thin hair. I wanted to let it grow, but according to my mom and my MIL, in order to have her hair grow long and nice, first i must trim the hair. So, I gave in… here is the scissors. I let my MIL to do the honor. Chop-chop-chop…. I LOVE her new hairdo now… she looks chubbier and I have to accept the fact that she is no longer a baby no more.

Note to Des: You have to admit, she is growing up!!! ^_^

3 months Vs. 22 months

Published by tansuma under family

My mom finally got here a week ago…on Oct 22. Viola has been choosing people to feed her, change her, sit beside her, etc. Last night, she was watching “Finding Nemo” on my mom’s lap and my mom told me that she remembered there was a photo similar to this. I quickly grabbed my camera and shot this.

my last prenatal massage therapy session

Published by tansuma under thoughts

I have been going to this massage therapy in downtown since my last entry about my lower back.  I love driving there even though it takes about 1 hour back and forth but that is MY time for myself, especially after the 1 hour massage, all worth while.

Winter 07-Summer 08

Published by tansuma under viola

Viola—the trouble two! Now I totally understand when parents are warning us about this age.

She has learned how to:

    -push the boundaries
    -say NO to everything
    -steal the grandparents’ hearts
-say “Cheese” whenever a camera is in front of her face (thanks to Lucas)
-sing a song, or rather a sentence in a mandarin kid song
-dance and shake according to the type of musics
-offer to help us move boxes and she would complain the boxes are “cong-cong” (heavy)
-ask us to “Come!!! Lai” by dragging our finger
-demonstrate our anger expression when we ask her “how does Nai-nai look when she is angry?”
-and many many more, probably Desmon will think of more. ^_^

early Pumpkin patch

Published by tansuma under family, outing, viola

Got an email from Carolyn inviting us to the pumpkin patch event in Langley. I have to say that it is worth the drive and admission price. The place is huge and lots of things to see for the kids and keeps the kids busy. Hay ride, petting zoo, pop corn, hot dog… halfday well spent~ Thanks Carolyn for asking us to join you guys!

Oct 20: yep, still no sign of 2nd baby’s arrival
