my little ballerina part-2

Published by tansuma under viola

I made this tutu for Viola’s first birthday, if you remember. She found it today and kept on saying “mei-mei” (pretty), so I put it on her. Here are some pictures that are taken by me and Elina ^_^

We went to see the celebration of light with Rony, his mom, Alice, Faye, and Hesty. It was Viola’s very first time seeing fireworks.

There were 2 fireworks before the show begun and that freaked Viola out because she wasn’t paying attention to the sky when it was launched but she only heard the sound afterwards. It was pretty loud and she ran towards Desmon and said “pha-pha” (scared). However, as soon as the fireworks started, she fell asleep in my arms, so cute…and she woke up this morning at 9am. ^^

slide and fall

Published by tansuma under family, outing, videos, viola

As soon as we got into the pool, Viola had set her eyes on the sea lion slide. She was so excited.

We were pretty impressed with her ability to run in the water and of course, she fell couple of times but despite it, she didn’t cry or asked us to remove her from the water. (Des is so happy that his little girl loves the water)

another year

This year, we are really glad that my sister is here to celebrate our anniversary, and for sure Viola too thus we, mainly me, refused to hire a baby sitter for Viola. I would love to spend this day with “family”. It was a great dinner arranged by Desmon at Kits on the 18th. Elina treated us dessert…yum yum.

And on the day of, I chose to spend it close to home rather than driving to the island. We went to Second Beach at Stanley Park. It was a fabulous day… we got there around 11:30am already and we were lucky to even get a ‘close-by’ parking space. The swimming pool was huge and Viola had so much fun.

We spent the rest of the day baking under the Sun with intention of getting tan for the rest of the Winter ^_^.

Elina and I were bored and were thinking of projects to do. That was how these 2 growth charts came about. We really had an awesome time. Elina was in charge of Viola’s and I was in charge of the baby’s. Since we notice that Viola is really into marine animal, thus the ocean theme for her.

we went and sing K

Elly cie told us about his place called K-Fever, all you can sing from 1to 7pm for $12/person. We got there at 3pm already, thinking that the latest we might be leaving at 5pm…how wrong was I.

It was a really an eye-opening experience for me… never in my life i thought i could last for 4 hours in singing, or rather screaming. It was a good stress relief not that I have lots of stress now. ^_^

I was also worried about Viola. How could she stay still in the room for hours? She actually could amazingly. She grabbed the microphone and attempted to sing (imitating her aunt, Elina). Elina and I had lots of fun singing. Around 6:30pm, Desmon walked in the door and joined us for another 30 minutes…he got to sing too.

5th set of shots at 18 months of age

weight= 12.2 kg (27lbs) = 75percentile
height= 83cm (32.7″)= 75 percentile

Poor her…she saw the first needle coming despite how Elina and I distracted her. After the second jabs, when the nurse was about to leave the room, she said “bye” to the nurse while crying. And, as soon as the nurse left, she stopped crying.

This was my first time holding her while she got jabbed. I am very afraid of needle(s). Can’t you tell from my face?????? as if i was the one who got jabbed!
