WOW…. is right!
Des and I deserve a pat on our back. We made it one year without killing each other. I have to say, the last 12 months had been a big adjustment for us. Despite trying to keep up with Viola and our own life, making sure we are doing the right things, and most importantly, trying to be sane through the process of raising Viola… ^^, we have had lots of ‘tired’ fun. A lot has changed since last year December and we are very excited to see what is in store for us next year.
Anyway, we had 2 parties for Viola, one on Dec 15 and one on Dec 22. Her real birthday is somewhere in between those dates. So, I have 3 galleries dedicated to her birthday.
Note: Thank you, Stevia aka er er, Viola’s thrid aunt, for flying half way around the globe to celebrate Viola’s birthday.

I made a simple tutu yesterday for her 1st birthday. She screamed and cried when I put it on her. I know it is hard to tell on the picture. It was because of her rocking horse… that distracted her. Those were the only 3 pictures that I got of her without crying or angry faces. I guess no tutu for her on her birthday then. Too bad!!!!
She does look so cute in it though.

I cannot believe a whole year has passed. I still remember last year around the same time I received an email from Serene about the arrival of Lucas. It has been a pleasure to have the chance to know you, Lucas!

Skip this entry if you don’t wanna hear me yap ^^. As you can assume, I am pissed and upset, so please be the “passenger” who agrees with the “driver” in the traffic jam. Will tell you guys the “passenger and driver” story some other time.
Here it goes:
After the morning stroller workout today, Sharon and I decided to get a quick bite at a Chinese Restaurant in Richmond with Viola and Annabelle. We were the only customers then. We ordered and while we were waiting for the food, we both fed our daughter their lunch. They were both extremely happy/hyper that morning. Screaming and laughing, mostly screaming, but not in a bad way, just expressing themselves. We both felt embarrassed and tried our best to keep them occupied by giving them something to munch on or play with.
Before we knew it, people started to come 3 tables were filled with people. Across from us were these old couple and young couple. Viola and Annabelle continued screaming, eating, screaming….and suddenly, the old man turned around, angry, and said “SO NOISY!!!!” (pointing fingers to both girls and shaking his head and looked very serious). His family was laughing. And, I snapped and said “They are just babies, for crying out loud. That is so rude”.
I lost my appetite for sure. Sharon heard the same thing but fortunately, she didn’t see his face. If she saw, I bet she would be as upset as me.

Finally the big snow was here on Dec 2… but then today’s heavy rain washed it all away. In some sense, it takes the snow plowing, and the salting the road away…. how cool is that? I hope they will be one day snow, one day rain, snow, rain, snow… that would be G-REAT!! ^^
I have uploaded, let me see… 4 albums (Let It Snow, Sun-day, Rony’s birthday, and Science World) in 2 seatings, which made my eyes puffy now. Yeah, I know!! Instead of doing this, I should have tidied up the house for my sister’s arrival, but, oh well… there is always ‘another day’ (typical procrastinator’s excuse).
By the way, congratulations to Rony and Alice who just got engaged! Soon, you will know the ‘ball and chain’ spell. *wink hahaha.
