Last week, fresh, cold, crispy air and sheet of frost greeted me when I was walking to work. Lawn was white and crispy. Chimney was blowing smoke – warm and fuzzy inside the house.
Last night, my regular frost was replaced with snow. First snow of the season. I forgot how beautiful it can be.

FINALLY!!!! After 22 hours of labor, Colin is here on November 15th at 6:06pm. Way to go Elly cie. We went to visit them at the hospital. Viola behaved like a big girl, she was not fussy nor throwing tantrum. She was smiling and seemed to wanna play with Colin. Ow–that makes me wanna have a second baby… and then Colin started to cry (diaper change), and the thought just vanished. Oh yeah, the sound of the screaming baby does not encourage me to have a second one. However, Desmon and I just gonna go with the flow… no planning, no stress. (lesson learnt!)

Thanks Ava for inviting us to celebrate your 2nd birthday. Itw as a lovely and intimate gathering. Ava was thrilled when everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her. Ava is a really nice baby/toddler… I bet she will be an awesome sister to Colin, who at that time still refused to come out from Elly cie.

I found this old photo of me pretending to know how to play piano 2 days ago and my~how big my head was. Ha ha ha ha. Head aside, I decided to put my daughter to slam on the keyboard. Slammed she went… loud and hurtful to my ear. But, we had fun shooting it.
Aside from our pose, you think we look alike?

Nope, she has not walked yet and nope, she hasn’t climbed the stairs more than3 steps yet. And, yes, she is getting more and more aware of my camera.
Through my lens, I can tell that Viola has grown so much. I still remember the first time I saw her through my lens, she was so tiny. It is scary to think of it how fast time just goes by. When I was young, I looked at my parents, thinking… ‘Wow, those are adults! And that we have to run everything by them first. They were the one who made decisions for us-like what school we were going to, and where we are living and stuff.’ I cannot believe it is Des’ and my turn to have that responsibilities. I am no longer playing house, cook, and dolls. I am playing my real life… scary!
I used to hate it when my parents always say “We have tasted more salt than you” (if you are familiar with that line, you might know what I mean)… and I hate it when they are right…. ^^
