Carolyn organized a Christmas baking session for us. We started to bake from 8 and finished around midnight with about 6 recipes. It was fun but we were all so beat up afterward. I think we kinds baked too early in the month, two days later, all the cookies were gone in my household. Yum!

What a great idea for a 3 year old boy, Lucas. Serene and Edwin did a great job in food, decoration and entertainment. They created robot costume from diaper box, how cool is that?? The kids had a great time. Viola loved the costume.

We finally had the chance to have the Johnsons to visit our home this past weekend. They helped us take care of our two doggies couple of times before. Caffe and Tea-Vo had great times whenever they stayed at their place. It is very comforting to meet people who love our dogs so much. We feel blessed. Thanks Barbara and Robbin!

I love baking, no doubt of that but that doesn’t mean I am good at it. Luckily, I have found friends who share the same passion and are willing to give me tips and share me awesome recipes. Julia, a mother-of-two, is one of them. We bake muffins and cookies that morning with our girls while Jayden sat in his carseat nicely and patiently and with Adelia having her morning nap. It was very refreshing to have Natalie teaches Viola how to bake. They both seem to be having a great time. More baking playdate please!!!

After about 3 years away from home, Linda finally came home from Taiwan and Korea. Woo-hoo! For those who don’t know, Linda and I used to go to the same university and faculty. We spent lots and lots of time together studying, staying late for photo projects, real late (3am???). To think of it, I do miss my school years, I miss those time when you don’t really feel the need to schedule a day to meet your friends. They were just there everyday.
We used to treat ourselves with al-you-can-eat sushi whenever we finish our semester. How fun was it?
Now that she is home, I have all the reasons to have all-you-can-eat sushi. Glad to have you home, my friend!

Finally we got the chance to see the newly renovated kitchen. It was very sleek and modern. Money well spent, Wayne! He cooked all the dinner himself, impressive. Great food and company.

We got a SPECIAL dinner invitation from the Goathams as soon as Lian knows I LOVE pancakes. She told me she uses cast iron griddle to make pancakes and those are the best. Wait! I think I invited myself over. Ah, it doesn’t make any difference. Right, friend? ^_^
Everything was beyond my expectation, the pancakes were fluffy and yummy; the back bacon was nothing like I ever had before; the sausages-gone before I could reach or my camera and last but not least, the apple crumble: YUM! They make my breakfast looks real bad. I ought to learn a thing or two from the Goathams.
