It has been 3 years=1095 days of this troublemaker and we are still figuring out her characters and personalities. Everyday is an adventure with Viola. She has grown to be a very independent girl, spending hours at home just entertaining herself with books, lego and puzzles. We also notice that she is very attune with her feelings, sensitive and caring to babies. Anyways, these 1095 days have been a blast KK! Love you!
Please don’t ask us why did we do it!! We prepared all the food, cake and decoration. I realized that planning a party can be fun and stressful at the same time…not to mention the needs of well executed plan and teamwork. Des insisted on having South East Asian food for her party because he craved for lontong and sate. We also decorated out house with pom-pom and polka dots. The smile on Viola’s face when she saw the cake for the first time was priceless. She still loves the red, white and pink dots around the house. Des and I didn’t recover from the party for at least 2-3 days. Lots of work, I have to say but worth it!

After couple of times bringing Viola along to our cleaning appointment, finally the day has come. We put her down for her REAL cleaning. We were a bit skeptical how to coax her but the dentist and the staff make it easy on her and us. Viola listened to the dentist and seemed to understand what is going on. After cleaning, the dentist told us that Viola has 3 small cavities. Oh dear! We have to bring her in around January to fix it. I hope she will be fine and won’t have any bad experiences with dentist.

As days pass by, Adelia’s personalities have become more and more distinct. She is the cutest lil’ bud.
On any given occasions, she would surprise us by imitating us or Viola, by putting necklaces on herself and walking around with Viola’s bag, imitating us taking pictures…never end.
The scratch on her face was from lego. No worry, by the time you read this, that scratch is healed with additions of 2 bruises (on her temple and her cheek). *sigh

Carolyn organized a Christmas baking session for us. We started to bake from 8 and finished around midnight with about 6 recipes. It was fun but we were all so beat up afterward. I think we kinds baked too early in the month, two days later, all the cookies were gone in my household. Yum!

What a great idea for a 3 year old boy, Lucas. Serene and Edwin did a great job in food, decoration and entertainment. They created robot costume from diaper box, how cool is that?? The kids had a great time. Viola loved the costume.

We finally had the chance to have the Johnsons to visit our home this past weekend. They helped us take care of our two doggies couple of times before. Caffe and Tea-Vo had great times whenever they stayed at their place. It is very comforting to meet people who love our dogs so much. We feel blessed. Thanks Barbara and Robbin!

After Viola’s last class of ballet, we all went to this SuterBrook Village for Christmas Tree lighting. It was a chilly night but we mt lots of people, Serene, Carolyn, Margaret, and Selena. We couldn’t wait till any longer due to the cold, so we left before they lit up the tree. For sure, when we were in the car, the tree was lit already. ^_^
I am loving these type of family events!
